The BEAT Cancer Project is designed to enhance and sustain physical activity behavior in breast cancer survivors, with a focus on quality of life.

Women – age 18 to 70, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and do not exercise regularly – are being sought to participate in this free exercise program sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. Participants will be randomly assigned either to a three-month exercise program (12 supervised exercise sessions, home exercise sessions, and six group meetings) or to a standard care group.  Physical and psychosocial assessments will be taken at baseline, months 3, 6, and 12.

Next wave starts late January – sign up today!
